Not often, but occasionally, I get sentimental about my adopted home town. I used to make noise about going back to Texas. I even mentioned it to a journalist at some point for some article. Shortly after that article published, I applied for a job at Hide and Sole(shoe store downtown) and the boss told me she had just read that I was considering leaving for Texas. And based on that, I didn't get the job. I don't blame em. It took me a second to finally GIVE IN to this place. And this song is a little bit about that process.
